Formness is an international architecture magazine. Our primary focus is publishing accurate, relevant and up-to-date information on architects and their work. For more information visit our main page

You may notify us of your interest through our contact form. Please include some basic information regarding yourself and also a small description of what position would best suit you. If we are interested we will get back to you via email and request further detailed information from you. How do I get my work published on formness?
Publication on formness is strictly by invitation.
If you would like to receive an invitation, you may send a request to requests@formness.com
Please include your company's website address, or a link to your work.

Registration and Publication (Response to Invitation)
I received an invitation to have my work published on formness. What are the next steps?
You should have received a valid registration code along with the invitation. You may register to formness using the registration code by visiting the registration page.
I've registered and hold a valid formness account. Now, how do I publish projects/profile?
To follow along with the following steps, please make sure you've logged in. If not, you can login here.
You can publish projects only if your profile information is complete. If this isn't the case, you can do so here.
Once you have a complete profile; you can publish projects here.
You can access these pages easily through the main-menu's drop-down-menus.
I have a huge selection of works. Which ones should I publish. Any other guidelines?
We believe that you being the architect/designer are the best judge of your work. And as such, we leave the choice completely up to you. From time to time, we may request certain specific project types. In this case, it is preferable to publish those.
How many words should my project post contain?
Preferably a minimum of 200 words and a maximum of 600 words.
What should be the size, resolution and format of my images?
The ideal width for your images is 600 pixels. Images should be in JPG or PNG format only. Maximum file size for each image is 2 MB, and total file size of all images should not exceed 10 MB per project/news.
How many images should I upload?
There is no upper limit as to the number of images. As explained above you cannot exceed 10 MB in total file size.

How do I find the project/profile I published?
You can access a list of all your published projects through the 'edit projects' link through the main menu drop down.

A separate link to view your profile is provided under the main profile menu.
Alternately, you can search for your profile/projects through the general search, accessible at the top right of this page.
I can't find a particular project/profile through the general search, now what?
If you are looking for your own published projects, please refer to the question above.
To locate a particular article through the entire site, you can use the filter box available on the projects, and profile listing pages to narrow down your search. You can filter articles by location, date, and category.
The filtered search on the listing pages shows no results. How come?
The search filters are mutually exclusive. That is if you only select one filter at a time, you are sure to find a result. Adding two or more filters simultaneously to searches may or may not turn up results. If you do not find what you are looking for through the filters, please try the general site search.

Payments / royalties / copyrights
I have the images for the project. But the publishing rights are with the photographer. Can you pay for the image royalty?
Sorry, but the answer is no.
Neither do we charge the designer to get their work published, nor the reader to access the work that is published. And as such, we expect you to have the relevant publishing rights. Also, we expect that the photographs that you send in; (if required) be paid for a lifetime royalty by you, since your work is going to remain on Formness forever.
Do I have to pay to have my work published on Formness?
No.
When I publish my work on formness, do I keep my copyrights?
Yes. Please also look at our terms of service page, specifically section 4.
